Integrated Packaging Machinery, LLC, a Michigan limited liability company (doing business as “IPM”), respects your privacy and is committed to being transparent about the personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. In this Privacy Policy, “IPM,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Integrated Packaging Machinery, LLC. This Privacy Policy describes our practices for information collected through ipmperformance.com (the “Website”), our marketing communications, forms and file uploads, chat services, job application processes, and other online interactions with us.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected by third parties through their own websites, applications, or services (such as our applicant tracking system or platforms we link to), or to information we collect offline in the course of a customer relationship, which is governed by our agreements with that customer.
This Privacy Policy also serves as our notice at collection under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA”). If you are a California resident, please review Section 5 for a description of your rights and the categories of personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
This Privacy Policy is available in an alternative format to consumers with disabilities upon request. Please contact us using the information in Section 13.
By using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: directly from you, automatically as you use the Website, and from third parties.
Information you provide directly
When you interact with us, you may provide personal information such as:
- Contact information: name, business email, phone number, mailing address, company name, and job title (through contact forms, gated content, event registrations, or direct outreach).
- Facility and shipping information: through our Spare Parts and Technical Support forms, we may collect your facility location, ship-to address, and site-specific details.
- Equipment and operational information: the specific packaging equipment, robot platforms, line details, part numbers, and operational status (including current impact and remote-access availability) that you provide when requesting parts, service, or an uptime audit.
- Uploaded files: photos, documents, drawings, and other files you upload through our forms. These may include images of your production facility or equipment. Please do not upload files containing sensitive personal information (such as government identification numbers, financial account numbers, or health information) about yourself or others.
- Communication content: the substance of your inquiry, project requirements, or messages you send us through forms, email, or other channels.
- Chat conversation content: if and when you interact with the chat widget on our Website, the content of your conversation is collected and processed by our chat service provider. Please do not include confidential or sensitive information in chat.
- Job application information: if you apply for a role at IPM, applications are submitted through our external applicant tracking system, SaaShr (hosted at secure6.saashr.com), reachable from IPM’s careers page. SaaShr collects your name, contact information, resume, work history, and other application materials on our behalf. IPM does not directly collect applicant information outside of the ATS. SaaShr’s privacy notice governs its own handling of your application data.
- Marketing preferences: your consent status for marketing communications and cookies.
Information collected automatically
As you use the Website, we and our service providers automatically collect:
- Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system, screen resolution, referring URL.
- Usage data: pages visited, time spent on each page, links clicked, and navigation paths, and, where you have consented to analytics cookies, session recordings and heatmaps of your on-page interactions (mouse movements, scrolling, and clicks) collected by Microsoft Clarity.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see the “Cookies and Tracking Technologies” section below.
- Approximate location: derived from IP address, typically at the city or metropolitan-area level.
- Advertising and analytics identifiers: when advertising and analytics services are active on the Website (see Section 3 for the current list), those services may set their own identifiers and receive information about your interaction with the Website.
Information collected from third parties
We may receive information about you from:
- Business intelligence providers (such as Snitcher): this type of service identifies the organization associated with a visitor’s IP address, which helps us understand which companies are interested in our products.
- Marketing partners and CRM platforms (such as HubSpot): we may enrich or update contact information about business prospects.
- Publicly available sources: professional networking sites, industry publications, and business directories, where used to research prospective customers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the information, products, or services you request
- Fulfill contracts, quotes, projects, and post-installation service commitments
- Provide parts, technical support, and warranty service tied to installed equipment
- Process job applications and evaluate candidates for open roles
- Send marketing communications about our products, services, industry insights, and events, where you have opted in or where permitted by law
- Improve the Website, our products, and our customer experience through analytics and research
- Personalize your experience on the Website and in our communications
- Protect the security and integrity of the Website, including detecting and preventing fraud, spam, or unauthorized access
- Comply with legal obligations, respond to legal requests, and protect our rights
Legal bases (for visitors in the EU and UK): To the extent the EU General Data Protection Regulation or the UK GDPR applies to our processing of your personal information, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: your consent (for example, for non-essential cookies and marketing communications); our legitimate interests in operating, securing, promoting, and marketing our business, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms; the performance of a contract with you or steps taken at your request before entering into one; and compliance with legal obligations.
We do not use personal information for purposes that are incompatible with those listed above without first providing you notice.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. However, California law defines “sale” and “sharing” broadly to include making personal information available to third-party advertising and analytics platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising, even where no money changes hands. Our use of the advertising and analytics tools described below may qualify as a “sale” or “sharing” under that definition, and you have the right to opt out as described in this Section and in Section 5. We may share personal information with the following categories of recipients:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers: Kinsta (managed WordPress hosting) and Cloudflare (content delivery and bot management).
- Analytics providers: Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity.
- Advertising vendors: Google Ads / DoubleClick, Meta (Facebook Pixel), Microsoft Advertising (Bing UET), LinkedIn (Insight Tag). These tools are loaded only after you consent to marketing cookies. Some or all of these may be temporarily disabled at any time as we tune consent-gating; the current active set is disclosed in our Cookie Policy.
- Marketing automation and CRM: HubSpot (including form processing via the Gravity Forms HubSpot integration).
- Business intelligence providers: Snitcher (reverse-IP company identification).
- Chat services: Chatling (chat conversation processing).
- Form processing and spam protection: Gravity Forms (form platform), Google reCAPTCHA (spam and bot protection).
- Font delivery: Google Fonts (may be self-hosted where technically feasible).
- Video hosting: YouTube (Google), for embedded videos, which load only after you consent.
- Applicant tracking: SaaShr (external applicant tracking system used for job applications).
- Business partners: organizations we collaborate with on specific customer engagements. The partner list varies from project to project. Data shared with partners is limited to what is material to scope, procure, install, and support a project for that customer.
- Legal and regulatory recipients: courts, regulators, law enforcement, and other authorities where required by law or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or the safety of others.
- In connection with a business transaction: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the terms of this policy.
Regarding “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (CCPA / CPRA): When active and consented to, our advertising and analytics tools, including Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Advertising, LinkedIn Insight, and Google Analytics, may receive identifiers (such as cookie IDs and IP address) and internet activity information (such as pages viewed) for purposes that qualify as “sharing” or “sale” under California law. You can opt out of such sharing at any time by declining marketing cookies in the consent banner, by clicking the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer, enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser, or by contacting us at privacy@ipmperformance.com. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
Our service providers and contractors are contractually restricted from using personal information for any purpose other than providing services to us.
We may use and disclose aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you, without restriction, and we will not attempt to re-identify such information except as permitted by law.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Website, understand how visitors interact with our content, and support marketing efforts. We use an opt-in consent model: other than functional cookies, no cookies or third-party tracking technologies are placed on your device or allowed to transmit information to third parties until you accept them through our consent banner. We categorize cookies as follows:
- Functional: required for the Website to function (session management, security, load balancing, bot detection, and storing your consent choices). These cannot be disabled.
- Preferences: enable enhanced functionality such as chat, preference storage, video embeds, and font delivery.
- Statistics: help us understand how visitors use the Website (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity).
- Marketing: track visitors across websites to inform marketing efforts (HubSpot, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Advertising, LinkedIn Insight, Snitcher, Chatling).
When you first visit the Website, our consent management platform presents a banner allowing you to accept, reject, or customize your cookie preferences. The “Accept” and “Reject” options are presented with equal prominence. Functional cookies are always active. You can change or withdraw your preferences at any time using the cookie preferences link in the Website footer.
We recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out preference signal sent by supported browsers. When we detect a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt-out of “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for that browser, and we will apply it to any personal information we have associated with that browser.
We also honor the “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal sent by supported browsers. If your browser sends a DNT signal, we treat you as having declined all non-essential cookies and tracking technologies, and that setting controls even if you later click “Accept” in our consent banner. To enable those technologies, you would need to turn off DNT in your browser settings.
For a current, dynamically-updated list of specific cookies in use — including which are active or blocked based on the current consent configuration — see the Cookie Policy accessible from the Website footer.
We do not control third-party tracking technologies or how the third parties that provide them use the information they collect. Those third parties may associate the information they collect with your personal information or collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites and services. If you have questions about a third party’s practices, please contact that provider directly.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to access, correction, or deletion requests; we will do so by matching the information you provide against information we already hold, and we will not ask for more information than is reasonably necessary. No system is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect the information you entrust to us.
